**Job description**:
**Inovata Foods Corp.**is currently looking for one team members to work at our Edmonton, Alberta location.

Located in Edmonton, Alberta, with a partnered facility in Tillsonburg, Ontario, Inovata Foods Corp. is a major producer of high quality frozen meals for prominent clients throughout North America.

**Details.**
This position will join the small QA Team as a **weekend** QA Auditor and will work Saturdays that we have production.
This position will start at 7AM and work an 8.5 hour day.

**Position Purpose.**
- To support Quality Assurance functions and related requirements.
- Support plant and production functions.
- Complete line checks, QA checks and associated paperwork.

**Duties and Responsibilities.**
- Perform environmental swabbing and subsequent sample submissions to external laboratories.
- Support finished goods release program, i.e., daily taste panels.
- Support incoming materials program, i.e., raw materials inspections.
- Review batch documentation for release of finished goods.
- other projects as assigned.

**Requirements.**
- Must have experience utilizing Microsoft Office, i.e., Excel.
- Must be able to work independently.

**Other Key Considerations.**
- Ability to effectively communicate with production personnel.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Must have an eye for detail.
- Must be able to interpret food safety and quality requirements.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
