Childcare Profram Manager

The Childcare Program Manager works under the direction of the Childcare Director to oversee the daily operations of the childcare programs in the Kinnikinnik Childcare building. This position is responsible for ensuring that MFRC policies and procedures, and Childcare Licensing policies are being adhered to. This position will ensure that there is consistency in programing and management from room to room. This position will require working on the floor in all of the childcare programs the majority of the time.

**Requirements**:

- Certified Early Childhood Educator, currently licensed to practice in BC is mandatory
- Related education and /or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience within a licensed childcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Child Care Licensing Regulation according to the Community Care and Assisted Living Act to ensure complete compliance with respect to Ministry standards
- Administration and Management for Childcare Course or related experience
- The Foundations of Inclusive Childcare Training (Part 1 and 2) OR have Special Needs certificate
- Computer skills (MS Word, Access, Excel, Publishing)
- Previous knowledge or experience with the Military Community would be an asset
- Bilingual (French and English) would be an asset
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
