Our Product Development team focuses on acquiring the highest quality proteins at the best prices for our customers. You will act as project and product coordinator and manage the product development process from end to end, including supporting sprints, liaising across internal and external teams, prioritizing demands, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
**What’s in it for you**
**_Impact and influence_**. You want to channel your curiosity and ambition toward disrupting an industry and changing what your community eats You will be part of an incredibly passionate group of people from the top down; particularly on this team. You will play a role in our success in the market by using all of your skills and your senses, tasting, sampling, checking our competition in the market, and asking yourself every day how we can be even better.
**_Exposure and career growth._** This is a business founded on progression, we are evolving and we want our people to evolve with us. We are eager to meet the challenges of a new market and confident we will experience - and share - the rewards of that. Joining us now is a chance to be supported in your skills development, increase your exposure, influence change, and grow your career.
Perks and professional rewards. You will have access to monthly free products, and tastings to further develop your ability to champion our products.
**What you will do**:

- Quality assurance. You will be involved at every stage of product development to move items forward while ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are met. You will build and nurture close relationships with members of the Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and E-commerce teams to ensure the seamless flow of work from workstream to workstream.
- Coordinate and support internal and external teams. You will work with Product Developers, Category Managers, and vendors to bridge communications, set up onsite and offsite meetings with all logistics in place, confirm details, and move the process forward. You will manage the product label proofing process and assist with the press approvals for new product development. You will work with Supply Chain on timelines for transportation.
- Manage project timing. You will liaise daily with key stakeholders involved in the product development process to coordinate tasks, set priorities, and report on risks to on-time delivery. You will manage the detailed workback schedules and Gantt chart.
- Continuous improvement. You will identify gaps and areas for increased efficiency, speed, and cost savings within the product development function.

**What you bring**:

- Passion. You have a love of food. You are excited to be part of a team making an impact on Canadians - and having fun doing it. You want to be part of a company where product development means the creation of delicious stews, curries, soups, and more for the everyday home cook.
- Education and experience. You have worked in new product development and project coordination in F&B marketing, frozen or prepared foods for grocery, recipe development or supply management for chain restaurants or hotels. Either way, you have the hustle, responsiveness and process-oriented mindset combined with meticulous attention to detail.
- Accountability. You have exceptional project management skills with the ability to plan and deliver multiple concurrent projects while being directly involved at the ground level. You can execute without a team, taking ownership for successful product development. You are results-focused, self-motivated and resourceful, with exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Growth mindset. You are open to new ideas and adapting existing ones, motivated to take on new challenges, bring value through continuous improvement, and share your insights and knowledge.
- Humble. You work collaboratively and can build reciprocal relationships across every level internally and externally. You take a customer-focused viewpoint to your work, embracing our emphasis on quality. You have professional communication skills and can influence with and without authority. You listen and act with thoughtfulness. You respect the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of those around you.
- Flexibility.
