**Posting Description**

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Scheduling, canceling and moving OR cases in the Centricity Perioperative Manager (CPM) system
- Responsible for all telephone communications; screening incoming inquiries
- Responsible for booking all procedures received from Surgeons’ offices
- Prepares and records appropriate data
- Prepares OR list; files all required documents
- Responsible for collecting statistical data for programs as specified
- Ensures accuracy in all bookings to appropriate care provider
- Entering all perioperative related data into computer systems such as the CPM and/or populating spread sheets/database
- Identifying data discrepancies appearing in the routine and making appropriate changes to resolve them
- Assisting the WTIS Coordinator and Database Analyst in entering information
- Clarifying unusual data before entry to ensure data correctness
- Identifying data discrepancies appearing in the routine and making appropriate changes to resolve them
- Performing general office and data entry duties when required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Medical terminology certificate required
- Clerical experience required
- Minimum 1 year experience working with Centricity Perioperative Manager (CPM) preferred
- Experience in a health care setting required
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in scheduling patient procedures preferred
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- Excellent keyboarding with a demonstrated attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Must have excellent attendance and punctuality record
- Computer literate and working knowledge of MS Office, ADT, and Soarian preferred
- High school diploma and completion of relevant computer courses
