We’re looking for a QA Lead Supervisor - Ottawa based - Hybrid

As a member of the engineering team, you will take an active role in leading the design, development, and execution of automated and manual tests in an Agile/SCRUM environment - involving both front-end and back-end validation against Entrust Identity Verification product line, and support manager in people management.- We offer flexibility- We offer a diverse work environment- Futureproof your career with a job in information security

How you will make an impact:
- Lead the quality assurance team and develop the team members, including but not limit to recruitment, performance management, and continuous learning.- Provide guidance and leadership to the quality assurance team.- Review processes and identify areas for improvement and propose improvements to management.- Responsible for communicating in a timely fashion with product owner and management the status of projects and addressing risks and potential risks.- Coordinate the assessment of required efforts, deliverables, timelines for product initiatives and client deliveries.- Active participation in - Standups, Sprint Planning, Review/Demo, Retrospections, and all the QA team related meetings.- Provide leadership in the design and development of automate use cases.- Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes-
- Follow and adhere to the best practices of software test engineering, Agile methodology, QA practices and processes in the organization.- Effectively collaborate with cross-functional development and QA teams- Support multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Participate in the development CI/CD Pipelines for execution of test automation

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree- 8+ years of experience development/maintenance of automated functional/performance tests- Experience in a QA Lead role- Experience in Agile/SCRUM environment- Experience with defect tracking tools and defect tracking protocols- Must possess excellent overall attention to detail and quality- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment- Task driven with a great attitude and excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications- Working knowledge of Windows Server, LINUX-based (Ubuntu/CentOS).- Experience with Atlassian software, development and collaboration tools (JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket)
