Operational Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and maintain day-to-day operation of natural gas conditioning and pressure reduction & compression systems.
- Conduct visual inspections of all equipment including compressed natural gas transport trailers.
- Manage and maintain Scada systems.
- Contribute to successful daily execution of the business plan (ie. production volume targets, health, safety, environment, reliability) by identifying opportunities to maximize production, minimize operating costs and eliminate downtime.
- Provide equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Perform housekeeping, performance monitoring and maintenance activities; and
- Provide training and mentoring for team members to assist in completion of assigned production tasks that required additional competencies or in-depth problem solving.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will have supervisory responsibilities including leading a team of contractors and managing projects.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5+ years of oil and gas operating experience
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
- Possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License - drivers abstract is required
- H2S Alive Certification
- First Aid Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- TDG Certification
- Common Safety Orientation Certification
- Core safety training preferred
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
TALENTS:
- Possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in an unsupervised work environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Scada systems

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
