The operations coordinator will participate in safety, coordination and planning of the ongoing activities at various GVA plant operations to achieve business targets. Recent graduates from post-secondary institutions will be considered.** **Location: GVA** **Responsibilities**: **Safety Culture: Participate in helping drive the site towards a zero injury work environment. Liaison with employees to complete risk assessments, workplace inspections, and assist in the use of workplace procedures and practices.**Quality Control: Participate in the quality control process and ensure the production of in spec material is achieved on a daily basis**Production Management: Assist the site manager in rolling out production plans, metrics and goals for production.**Community Relations: Assist the plant manager in ensuring that site meets or exceeds all Lafarge and Regulatory guidelines.
