**Responsibilities**:
**IT Support & Incident Management**:

- Log all IT incidents and IT service requests in the ITSM company tool.
- Logging and processing support calls. If an FCR (first call response) cannot be provided, then hand it off to the appropriate person who will resolve it or provide details about expected delay
- Treat, prioritize and respond in a timely manner to all the incidents and service requests aligning with SLAs for timely resolutions.
- Complete IT workflows including IT Onboarding/Offboarding.
- Keep an up-to-date inventory of software and hardware (Servers, Licenses, Storages, Virtual machines, hosts, endpoints, etc.)

IT Infrastructure. Administration, Configuration and Maintenance:

- Maintain and configure computer systems, network servers, server roles, and virtualization for reliable operations.
- Install, upgrade server/storage/computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/groups, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
- Manage other infra environments like door access systems, security cameras, etc.
- Monitor system resources, investigate event-log warnings/errors for optimized performance, and optimize server resources.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance monitoring

**Data Center and Backup Management**:

- Monitor data center health, respond to hardware issues, perform server and storage maintenance, and set up new servers as required.
- Execute regular backup operations and manage equipment logs for loans.
- Arrange repairs, monitor equipment status, and maintain an updated inventory of software and hardware.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance monitoring.

**Cloud environment**:

- Maintain and manage cloud-based systems, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards across cloud environments.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization for efficiency.
- Establish and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for cloud-based systems and data.
- Resolve technical issues, troubleshoot cloud-based problems, and provide support to users or teams as needed.
- Implement automation tools and scripts for streamlined cloud operations and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations and procedures.

**Database System Administration**:

- Conduct routine system audits.
- Plan for capacity and storage requirements.
- Ensure optimal database performance.

**IT Projects and Continuous Improvement**:

- Participate in/or lead IT projects, meeting deadlines and ensuring successful deliveries.
- Stay updated on IT technologies and implement best practices for continuous improvement.

**Support Availability & Flexibility**:

- Assist IT support and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.
- Respond to urgent incidents and make sure to be available or coordinate with the manger in case on-site support is required.
- Occasionally travelling and working in company plants as required. A valid driver license is required.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus.
- ITIL certified or a proven good knowledge of ITIL processes (including Major incidents, Change Management, Documentation, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
- Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, Hyper-V, Azure or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of systems backup: VEEAM, Azure Backup or similar
- 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools.
- Expertise in analyzing and repairing large-scale distributed systems;
