You will play a key role in implementing Ontario Health East priorities, helping partners plan, execute, and manage initiatives. This regional position focuses on addressing the unique needs of the East Region.

Here is what you will be doing:
- Advise on health-care system funding plans and manage project plans and budgets.- Identify and respond to emerging community issues and obtain community input.- Lead quality improvement and implementation monitoring in collaboration with Health Equity and Clinical Programs teams.- Analyze local health-care systems using provincial data and community feedback to identify gaps and set priorities.- Foster collaboration with partners and align with OH’s Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and Anti-Racism strategy.- Engage under-served communities through co-design and inclusive planning.- Promote research excellence and lead development of planning methodologies.- Conduct stakeholder consultations, assess planning impacts, and build consensus.- Contribute to provincial planning efforts and foster a culture of local service coordination.- Draft reports and briefing notes based on data analysis.- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and promote a culture of psychological safety.- Support adherence to health service accountability agreements and lead initiatives to improve service quality and patient safety.- Perform other duties as assigned.

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience- Post-secondary education in health administration, health planning, business administration or a related field with Master’s level degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a health care environment.- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Health care industry

Knowledge and Skills-
- Understanding of the current and changing dynamics of the Ontario health-care system and issues.- Knowledge of anti-racism, anti-oppression, equity, inclusion and diversity frameworks- Understanding and experience with embedding quality improvement initiatives.- Demonstrated financial competence.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with other staff and to liaise with colleagues across Ontario Health and with contacts in the Ministry.- Must be highly organized and able to thrive in a face paced environment with multiple priorities.- Uses information to make informed decisions and provides advice; exercises high degree of independence and professional judgment in problem solving.- Solid written and verbal communication skills. Internally, communicates with colleagues throughout the organization to present, discuss information and problems related to financial management and funding. Externally, communicates directly with various stakeholders to monitor funding allocations and performance.- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism with a solid understanding of financial controls.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.
