Located in Woodbridge, Ontario, our head office is looking for a Junior or Intermediate Accounts Payable/Receivable to join the Finance team.

**Job duties**
- Assemble, review and verify invoices and check requests
- Post invoices/purchase orders by verifying transaction information/product information along scheduling, preparing disbursements and obtaining authorization of payment.
- Revenue verification by transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
- Collects revenue by reminding delinquent accounts, notifying customers of insufficient payments.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Verifies accounts by reconciling transactions to vendor statements.
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
- Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
- Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Accurately review, code and process vendor invoices.
- Verify outdoor kitchen inventory is received & posted
- Credit card expenses reviewed, coded and posted
- Create weekly payments
- Assist with Month end closing
- Petty Cash disbursement and reconciliations
- Back-up for Order Fulfillment

**Experience & Education**:

- College diploma/University degree in Accounting preferred.
- 3+ years experience with accounts payable or general accounting
