Jardeg is recruiting **Scaffolder Journeypersons** to join the team supporting the NOVA Chemicals Joffre project on site near Red Deer, Alberta. **$ 125/day Living Out Allowance available** Shift schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off working 10 hours per day.

Scaffolders:

- Safely erect, maintain, repair, and modify all types of industrial scaffolding with mínimal supervision (i.e. towers, cantilevers, hanging scaffolds).
- Identify and estimate cost for ideal type of scaffolding material to use for the job (i.e., frame, tube & clamp, system).
- Receive permits for required tasks (i.e., pending qualification as a permit receiver) and complete all scaffolding checklists prior to build.
- Effectively communicate scope of work to scaffolding crews.
- Review Site Safe Work Procedures associated with the job prior to task execution.
- Manage and maintain an inventory of current scaffold material.
- Participate in pre-job toolbox meetings and conduct Pre-Task Analysis to identify potential hazards.

Position Qualifications:

- Journeyperson Scaffold Builder qualification or Proof of Hours.
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 2020).
- Fall Protection.
- Confined Space.
- Possess and maintain a valid Alberta Driver’s License.
