Position Summary

**Responsibilities**:
HUMAN RESOURCES
- Assist with annual orientation event.
- Employee recognition, and engagement, employee appreciation events.
- Assist with verbal and written warnings, terminations.
- Assist with policy creation, implementation, and maintenance.
- Maintain employee information boards.
- Track employee vacation and sick days, oversee birthday and anniversary calendar.

RECRUITMENT
- Assist in recruitment of seasonal staff.
- Job postings.
- Creating and sending offer letters.
- Onboarding.

HEALTH & SAFETY
- Joint Health & Safety initiatives.
- WSIB, disability, and return to work program.

ADMINISTRATIVE
- Assist with Annual Member Meeting.
- Ordering office supplies.
- Ensuring equipment is functioning.
- Manage meeting spaces.
- Maintain file systems.

Other duties as required.
What you bring
- Certificate in HR Management, or equivalent from a recognized college or university.
- Working knowledge of employment law for Ontario.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- A minimum of one year HR experience is considered an asset.
