UPHOLSTERER Due to growth within our company, we are seeking upholsterers to join our production team in North York. Our upholsterers are integral members of the Vogel family and facilitate a key step in the journey of bringing our clients' dreams to life. Vogel's upholsterers bring attention to detail and quality craftsmanship to every Vogel product. This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period. WHO WE ARE Since 1965, Vogel has manufactured high-end upholstered furniture for residential customers, and for the hospitality industry across North America. Vogel is a part of the Chervin group of companies which also provides high-end custom residential cabinetry, luxury hotel furniture, and home décor. WHAT YOU'LL DO Accurately and efficiently upholster high-end custom furniture for residential and luxury hotels as per the provided specs Assist with other duties as required Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently WHAT YOU'LL BRING Ability to read and discern drawings and work orders Ability to work with a wide range of materials A keen attention to detail A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work An enthusiastic personality A collaborative and creative nature An attitude that is hardworking and eager to learn A passion for the core values that our foundation to our company A commitment to punctuality and dependability BONUS: 2+ years general upholstery experience (not required) If you are interested in developing or expanding your upholstery career, please respond with your resume.
