**Position Description**:

- Supervise skilled trades
- Support a 3-shift operation and work shifts as necessary
- Organize jobs for shift start and ensure employees adhere to safety regulations
- Prepare daily reports and track progress including implementation of new technologies
- Communicate with manufacturing on breakdowns/status/equipment availability
- Maintain equipment uptime and follow-up on all requests
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area for group
- Troubleshoot problems on machinery and equipment
- Significant overtime and weekend work is involved
- Supervisory duties such as payroll/attendance
- Monitors and adheres to all Quality Environmental and Health & Safety requirements and standards
- Work within budgets and maintain accurate employee records

**Position Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma/degree or a licensed skilled trade - Electrical or Mechanical
- Minimum 3-5 years’ skilled trades supervision experience
- Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication (written, oral and listening) and analytical skills
- Strong organizational/administrative skills, including being a self-starter
- Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
- Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined space
- Ability to work shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with MAXIMO an asset
- Unionized shop experience an asset
