Life Enrichment Aide

The **Life Enrichment Support Aid** is responsible for assisting in the planning, organization and implementation of meaningful programs and engagement for all residents
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, organization and implementation of meaningful programs for the residents, in collaboration with the Life Enrichment Department.
Assist with the maintenance of appropriate department records including assessments, evaluations of planned programs detailing individual participation, charting
Maintains effective communication and good human relations with residents, families, volunteers and staff of other departments, keep them informed of current and upcoming events
Participates in team meetings to plan programs with residents’ interests in mind.
Assisting with assessments of individual residents activity levels
Preparing, carrying out and evaluating daily activities
Porting residents to meals, assisting and supporting residents during meal time
Other duties as assigned
**Key Qualifications**
Holds a diploma / degree or is enrolled in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, Social Service Work, Gerontology or other related fields from a community college or university.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong time management and organization skills.
Has experience and knowledge related to one on one and group programing, implementation and evaluation
Experience working in Long Term Care or related setting.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: From $19.44 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
