Northern Gold Foods is a leading manufacturer of a wide range of healthy great tasting breakfast and snack food products. Our Port Coquitlam facility is currently seeking a full time **Shipper/Receiver **to join our team.
- **As part of your role, you will**:_
- Effectively schedule outgoing shipments
- Prepare customs invoices and other cross-border documents
- Process customer orders in ERP software and EDI; full cycle from purchase order entry through to invoicing
- Work with our sales manager and materials handlers as it relates to the order fulfillment process
- Maintain good communications with freight carriers, plant & office personnel and customers
- Assist with the coordination/timing of incoming shipments
- Other logistics duties as may be required
- **What we’re looking for**:_
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills including Office 365 suite and Adobe (paperless process)
- Precise data entry skills, excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
- 2+ years experience in shipping/receiving, ideally in a food manufacturing environment
- 2+ years experience with an ERP/inventory management system
- Forklift experience required
- Able to multi-task in a fast faced environment

- logistics: 2 years (preferred)
- ERP systems: 2 years (preferred)
- Forklift: 2 years (preferred)
