We are currently looking to fill the following position:
**Warehouse and Inventory Manager**

Are you organized, responsible, meticulous, versatile, and rigorous? Octasic is currently looking for an inventory manager to complete its team.

Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, and working in collaboration with the person responsible for shipping and the production team, the inventory manager is in charge of receiving the products, preparing the equipment and accessories necessary for start-up of production and to ensure that the inventory is kept up to date.

They will carry out the layout and procedures of the store (inventory area) in collaboration with the rest of the team. The person must be meticulous, rigorous and organized in their work, while being motivated, passionate and courteous.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proceed with the receipt of goods, validate the quantities of products as well as the compliance according to established standards and rules.
- Execute computer transactions related to the purchase order.
- Execute all entry and exit of goods from the store / inventory to production (and vice versa) and ensure the transactions are inputted into the computer.
- Check the condition of the goods received (damage, missing parts, etc.) and proceed with returns to suppliers as needed;
- Assign and maintain a good tracking system at the store;
- Ensure the accuracy of the inventory, perform cyclical inventories and participate in the annual inventory count;
- Respond to requests for parts from production to the counter;
- Preparation of equipment and tools necessary for engineering projects.
- Collaborate daily with the purchasing, engineering and operations departments;
- Inspect, verify and assess the wear and conformity of consumables according to returns made by production;
- Participate in actions that may result in greater efficiency of the department and the reduction of its operating costs;
- Ensure that workspaces are kept clean and well organized at all times.
- Replace the shipper if necessary, prepare shipments using the order preparation form according to the certificates of conformity and export documents, if necessary, and ensure quantities and compliance.
- Assembly/disassembly, cables and mechanics as needed.
- All other related tasks.

**Profil**:
**Training**:

- High school diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field

**Required skills**:

- Must like teamwork, be organized and meticulous, have initiative
- Experience in inventory management
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly is an asset
- Know how to manage your time and perform several tasks at the same time
- Ability to lift loads, up to 60 lbs
- Quickly adopt safe work behavior
- Have already worked in production assembly
- Attentive, able to work under pressure, planning skills, organization, rigorous
- Autonomous, resourceful, collaborator
- Good knowledge of the use of computer software (Microsoft Suite - particularly Excel)

**The inventory manager must also**:

- Speak French and English

The position of warehouse and inventory manager is full-time, during the day.
