**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Leading various projects related to Accreditation Standards including**:

- Develop project plans for accreditation standards initiatives, outlining key milestones, resources needed, and partner and/or stakeholder involvement.
- Lead implementation efforts to mobilize on recommendations from broad partner and/or stakeholder feedback and external review, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
- Liaise with external consultants, ensuring clear communication of project expectations and objectives.
- Engage with internal and external partners and/or stakeholders to foster collaboration and gather diverse perspectives on accreditation standards development.
- Lead implementation of action items from EDI review and incorporate themes of antiracism, unconscious bias, and health equity in the development and revision of standards.
- Champion the integration of innovation and best practices into standard development processes to enhance service quality in accredited facilities.
- Participate in the development and delivery of training programs for assessors on new accreditation standards and the electronic assessment platform.
- Lead migration of Accreditation standards to a new platform as the department moves to modernize currently paper-based accreditation processes.
Liaise with internal partners to spearhead development of a dedicated Accreditation Standards webpage and other initiatives to enhance partner and/or stakeholder engagement and increase standards development process transparency.

**Coordination of Accreditation Standard Development and Maintenance**:

- Support regular review and maintenance activities related to Accreditation Standards.
- Maintain Accreditation Standards review schedule and be accountable for coordinating wrap-around processes.
- Lead background research, jurisdictional scanning and information gathering for standard revisions.
- Collaborate with Communications to develop and manage standards consultation correspondence.
- Develop and execute communications and roll-out strategy in collaboration with inter
- (Department leadership and impacted program areas) and intra-departmental resources (IT, Communications)
- Ensure consultation packages are rolled out to relevant partners and/or stakeholders and a systematic process is followed for the collation, analysis and reporting of feedback received.
- Independently synthesize evidence from scholarly articles and grey literature relevant to standards under development or review
- Conduct impact assessment for standard changes under the supervision of the Accreditation Director and relevant Program Manager(s)
- Maintain a current and comprehensive document control repository for accreditation standards.
- In collaboration with program staff, ensure all accreditation materials adhere to established quality management requirements and best practices.
- Engage with internal and external partners and/or stakeholders to foster collaboration and gather diverse perspectives on accreditation standards development.

**Continuous Quality Improvement**:

- Continually explore opportunities for improvements and collaborate with internal partners on quality initiatives related to accreditation standards and processes.
- Support the implementation of appropriate improvement methodologies to ensure accreditation processes remain nimble and standards continue to be fit-for-purpose across program streams.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or specialized certification

**Experience**:

- 5 or more years of related experience

**Skills**:

- Project management knowledge, techniques and tools
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic database management skills
- Exemplary problem-solving, decision-making, time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills

**SALARY**
The salary for this position is $80,954 annually and includes a comprehensive benefit package and pension plan.
