Gillfor Distribution is seeking a full-time, highly motivated Assistant Division Manager for our Calgary, Alberta location. The Assistant Division Manager's primary function is to manage, guide and support all aspects and members of the Division. Working as a cohesive unit with the Division Manager, the Assistant Division Manager supports and implements strategic plans to grow the business, supports the organization’s profit targets and develops a highly skilled and superior workforce. This is an in-person role at our Calgary location and only those applicants residing in the Calgary area will be considered.

Performance Requirements

**Leadership**:

- Working together with the Division Manager responsible for the leadership, development & management of all Staff at the Division.
- Drive performance by setting clear goals for team members, supporting all staff to help them achieve these goals and regularly evaluate performance versus targets & plans.

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficient & profitable execution of all areas that fall under the Division.
- Strive to ensure that the highest level of service and customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Maintain standard operating procedures & processes as established by Gillfor
- Drive business process improvements for day-to-day work of the Division

Standards of performance
- Business Degree, Post-Secondary Diploma, and/or related industry experience.
- Situational leadership.
- Travel/Transportation may be required to visit/seek current and potential clients - valid driver’s license.

Working Conditions
- Gross salary competitive with industry standards.
- Discretionary bonus, Business Fuel Expenses, Health/Dental Benefits.
- Full-time Monday to Friday on-site in Calgary, Alberta. Applicants must be local and reside in the Calgary area
- Report directly to divisional Manager.

Additional Information
- Progression to Division Manager position is possible with additional training or experience, providing all areas of the Assistant Division Manager’s position is performed to all the above expectations.
