**Overview**

We’re looking for a Merchandise Planner to join our Vancouver HQ Reporting to our Director, Merchandising, you’ll play an integral role as we expand into different channels, product lines, and much more.

You will be responsible for building a demand forecast by SKU based on sales trends, revenue targets, and future campaign plans. In doing so, you will support cross-functional teams with timely and accurate information to drive tactics to have the right product at the right place at the right time.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Lead the monthly demand planning process to forecast an accurate rolling 12-month demand plan by channel (e-commerce, retail, and wholesale) across North America
- Create and maintain accurate demand plans at the SKU level
- Collaborate cross-functionally to forecast new product launches and analyze performance post-launch
- Act as a key collaborator with the Finance team to develop and prepare annual and quarterly budgets
- Proactively gather, analyze, and drive insights on both internal business and external competitive landscape
- Identify key industry drivers to better forecast demand and opportunities; inform product strategy decisions by providing timely and accurate product analysis with historical sales data, lost sales, and demand drivers to support the Marketing team with campaigns, promotions, and channel allocation strategies
- Provide accurate long-range forecasts to the Supply Chain and Sourcing teams so that they can cascade them down to key suppliers and manufacturers
- Review periodic indicators of forecast accuracy to implement actions toward continuous improvement of performance

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 3+ years experience in working in Demand, Merchandise or Supply Planning - preferably with a combination of Excel and other planning tools
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a relevant field
- Proficiency in statistics, forecasting, and forecasting methods with a strong track record of demonstrating the ability to interpret data and a high degree of detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a data-driven and customer-focused mindset

- Experience working with Demand Planning tools and/or NetSuite (ERP)
