Bodymind Counselling is a cozy clinic in downtown Victoria, with an excellent reputation and a steady stream of referrals. Our vibe is welcoming and down to earth. We are a team of RCCs, RSWs, post-graduate interns, students and a great client care coordinator.

We are looking for a seasoned counsellor to be the next member of our team. If you love being a therapist but don’t want the hassle of everything that comes with running a business, or the isolation of solo practicethis is the position for you

We are looking specifically for someone with an interest in working IN PERSON, ON WEEKENDS. Our other office shifts are full but we have a ton of demand for weekends We will be moving offices in 6 months and there will be opportunity for more shifts at that time.

**Requirements**:

- Masters degree (minimum) in counselling psychology, clinical psychology, or social work
- Registration with an appropriate association or college: RCC, CCC, R.Psych, RSW
- Ability to work with a broad range of clinical issues (e.g. anxiety, depression, self-worth, complex trauma, life transitions, grief, relationships, parenting, etc)
- Additional training in a trauma-treatment modality - AEDP, IFS, TIST, BBP/Somatic Attachment, EMDR, etc
- Comfort and competence working with LGBTQIA2S+ communities is essential
- Experience and training in couples counselling is an asset
- Excellent spoken English is required. Fluency in another language is a bonus.

You are friendly, warm, and direct, and excited to work on a team with other great therapists.

You live in Victoria and are available to come to our downtown location for in person shifts on the weekend (either Saturday, Sunday, or both).

You are passionate about your work, committed to ongoing professional development, and have some training and experience already beyond your master’s degree.

You are willing to respect and uphold our Standards of Care and Policies and Procedures.

You are independently able to use basic technology such as JaneApp and Google Workspace.
