Working closely with the Director, Planning & Delivery, this role focuses on marketing planning, operations and measurement, with ad hoc support on production and design as part of the Planning & Delivery team. In this role you will work in close collaboration with teammates on the Planning team. This role has a primary focus on marketing initiatives.
What you will do:
- Leverage strong relationship management skills to help the Global Marketing team transition to new ways of working as processes are revised and new tools or enablement assets are implemented by our team, with an understanding of change management and how to set up a team for success.
- Develop internal communications strategies and editorial plans, including finding ways to improve and optimize our activities, collaborating closely with a variety of internal colleagues, including leadership and member firms, on content development, and utilizing excellent oral and written communication skills, with a relentless attention to detail, and experience writing for a senior level audience.
- Manage various operations initiatives including overseeing logistics and project manage in-person Global Marketing team events (twice annual) and helping with the development of session content and presentations, planning regular team knowledge sharing sessions with relevant best practices, provide measurement and budget reporting support.
- Working closely in support of the Director, Planning & Delivery, and the Managing Director, Campaigns, to drive an organized and cohesive annual planning process each year. Strong project management skills are needed to monitor and follow-up on actions.
- Support on an as needed basis with planning tracking throughout the year, including staying connected with marketers on their plans and launch dates, monitoring changes, and collaborating closely within the Planning team to align on updates.
What you bring to this role:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an operations, planning or strategy role, in marketing or communications, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
- Exceptional organizational skills with experience in project management, along with strong interpersonal skills; able to build rapport and trust quickly at all levels in an organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a relentless attention to detail, and experience writing for a senior level audience.
- Expert level in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word) including exception skill with design in PowerPoint; working knowledge of SharePoint (or other content management system) and ideally Adobe Workfront.
- A ‘can do’ attitude and an exceptional degree of personal initiative with an ability to manage multiple priorities in tight timelines and team player who can react positively to changing priorities in support of broader team objectives.
