We are seeking a Customer Service Representative, Bilingual to join our Coughlin team in Ottawa.

The Customer Service Representative primarily answers telephone and walk-in inquiries and corresponds with members of various plans on such matters as coverage, enrollments, terminations, beneficiaries, etc.

**The Customer Service Representative, Bilingual will**

  • Primarily answers telephone and walk-in inquiries and corresponds with members of various plans on such matters as coverage, enrollments, terminations, beneficiaries, etc.
  • Provides assistance in the administrative services to the Single
  • and Multi
  • Employer Plans and does so in such a way as to enable the smooth operation and administration of the plans.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of client information
  • Answering calls and responding to customer complaints.
  • Providing customers with detailed information about policies and products.

**To be successful as a Customer Service Representative, Bilingual** with Coughlin & Associates, you will need**:

  • The ability to maintain good public relations, both within and outside the organization.
  • A demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard office administration procedures
  • Excellent grammatical, spelling, and communication skills in both official languages.
  • The demonstrated ability to learn and master new software and technology.
  • Superior data entry skills and strong mathematical and reconciliation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and the ability to manage time
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • The ability to adhere to existing company policies and procedures.
  • The ability to use tact and discretion to maintain information in the strictest of confidence.
  • Experience in the benefits and/or insurance industry.
