The Opportunity

The Airtrac Drillers will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of hydraulic drilling equipment working as a member of the Excavation & Shoring crews.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work safely in a construction site and promote a safe work environment adhering to safety policies and procedures including participation in safety meetings
- Responsible for daily maintenance and safety inspections of their assigned piece(s) of equipment as outlined in Mainland’s equipment policy
- Work with the Foreman and other team members to ensure services are located and ready for drilling, including setup of equipment and safety checks
- Maintain quality results of work
- Work as a team with other crew members on daily site activities

Qualifications, Experience & Skillset
- Minimum 2+ years’ drilling experience on shoring sites
- Experience and knowledge of shotcrete shoring such as tying rebar, meshing, gauging, etc.
- First aid, confined space, and fall protection training is an asset
- Good communications ability, able to work with variety of individuals
- Understanding of safety and ability to communicate safety issues as they arise
- Must be physically fit, able to spend most or all shift standing, walking, lifting and carrying, working hands-on in an outdoor environment in all types of weather
- Flexibility with hours worked, including overtime and weekend work as needed
- Willingness to learn and possibly work across both all divisions
- Must be local to the Lower Mainland
- Must possess valid Class 5 Drivers License and be able to travel to sites across region
