We are a Paralegal firm in Ottawa looking for a Paralegal/Law clerk with experience in landlord and tenant disputes, Small Claims Court, and human rights matters to join our team.

Some of the Job duties include:

- Drafting routine correspondences
- Preparing pleadings, affidavits, and lists of documents
- Drafting legal documents
- Communicating with clients regularly
- Working with our legal software and client files
- Legal research
- Maintaining client files and correspondence with the client and the court
- Data entry

Skills/Proficiencies:

- Have an excellent command of MS Word, MS Outlook etc..
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Take initiative and have a strong work ethic

Schedule:

- 8-hour shift (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- Monday to Thursday

**Experience**:

- Paralegal/Law clerk: 1-2 years (preferred)

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required
