**Job Summary**:
We are seeking 2 experienced **Assembly Managers** to lead our manufacturing assembly operations for our exciting new program. This role is responsible for overseeing people, processes, and results in the department, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently achieved.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Organize, assign, and oversee daily work tasks for assembly employees, providing instruction, guidance, and support.
- Manage daily visual board reviews with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues affecting KPIs.
- Monitor set-up procedures, material shortages, tooling problems, and equipment malfunctions; implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Escalate critical issues to senior management for resolution and support.
- Enforce plant rules, policies, and labour regulations; administer discipline, track attendance, and conduct employee performance appraisals.
- Ensure adherence to company safety programs, including proper use of safety equipment and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Collaborate with Health & Safety representatives to investigate and resolve workplace incidents, accidents, or injuries.
- Develop and maintain departmental procedures, manuals, records, and documentation.
- Prepare and approve employee vacation schedules and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work environment.
- Support the implementation of new processes and procedures to enhance productivity and quality.
- Perform hands-on assembly work if required to support departmental operations.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Completion of technical trade school OR approximately five years of diversified experience in manufacturing, demonstrating capability to perform managerial responsibilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to resolve problems in collaboration with planners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience motivating teams and working under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and best practices.
- **Team Leader**: Skilled at motivating and guiding employees to meet departmental goals while fostering a positive, safe work culture.
- **Problem Solver**: Able to quickly identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions with mínimal disruption.
- **Results-Oriented**: Focused on achieving production efficiency, quality targets, and continuous improvement.
- **Adaptable**: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment that may involve tight deadlines, personnel challenges, and plant-floor conditions (noise, heat, dust, etc.).
- **Safety Champion**: Consistently enforces and models company safety standards, ensuring compliance across the department.
