**JOB OPPORTUNITY**:
**JOB DUTIES**:

- Greet and serve customers
- Enter purchases using a POS system, accept payments and make change as required
- Develop knowledge of the wide variety of baked goods we offer, and deliver that knowledge to the customer by addressing questions and making suggestions for purchases
- Serve hot and cold beverages
- Ensure every product meets the expectations of the customer and reflects well on the standards of the establishment
- Restock and clean the workstation regularly
- Perform store-front opening procedures; occasional closing may be required at times
- Perform other job duties as assigned

**CAPABILITIES**:

- Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow opening and closing procedures
- Ability to make change, use a cash register and balance cash.
- Ability to safely use cleaning products
- Ability to work under pressure of waiting patrons/line ups
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum 6 months experience in food preparation, customer service and experience with using a cash register and POS systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist in the day-to-day operations within the bakery
- Must be fluent and literate in the English language.
- Must be in good health and physical condition to perform the duties assigned.
- Must have own transportation as public transportation routes are not currently available

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Constant standing/walking
- Constant hand usage
- Occasional squatting, kneeling & bending
- Able to lift up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs) occasionally and up to 8.9 kg (20 lbs) frequently

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
