PSI Engineering manufactures and integrates automated pack and sortation systems for high volume warehouse and distribution centers who serve the business to consumer (B2C) market, drastically improving throughput and accuracy while reducing labor costs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assemble systems using assembly drawings provided by the engineering department
- Pick parts from inventory and organize parts for assembly
- Troubleshoot assembly issues using problem solving model
- Track and report assembly issues
- Test and report on assembled components and systems
- Work with other assemblers to create a final product
- Test and inspect components for uniformity and quality
- Participate in cycle counts of inventory and year end counts of inventory
- Participate in Plant organization as needed.

**Administrative responsibilities include**
- Complete daily work order and submit upon completion of assembly build
- Complete/report a daily log on any issues encountered during production builds includes defective parts
- Complete time sheet for build of assemblies, bi-weekly time sheet for payroll and inventory discrepancy reports

**Experience and Technical Skills**
- Strong mechanical aptitude with manual dexterity
- Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
- Able to read blueprints
- Possess good verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a time sensitive environment
- Ability to interpret technical problems
- Basic computer skills: word, excel and outlook is an asset
- Electrical skill is an asset - Able to print on 3D printer is an asset
