We are looking for a Catering Manager with previous F&B management or supervisory experience to joing our team. Here are some details regarding the role:

**Location**: Coast Lethbridge Hotel & Conference Centre
The Catering Manager is a motivational team leader who serves various roles in the front-end department of the organization. They handle day to day operation aspects of team management, training and development of supervisors and banquet personnel and assists all supervisors in the overall execution of events. Leaders in this role act as an ongoing mentor and coach to help emerging leaders strengthen their skills.
They have a variety of responsibilities including event set ups and tear downs. Working alongside the rest of the team, the core part of their job is all about coordinating the team, delegating tasks and managing junior personnel. This leader must be able to energize and inspire others. They must also make tough decisions and ask the right questions.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Food and Beverage service training, ability to order and manage inventory, ability to lift moderates amount of weight, organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work any hours required. Service of Plated and Buffet meals with impeccable customer service. Knowledge of room set ups and paint programs. Ability to use a variety of approaches to manage and resolve concerns, disagreements and conflict.

**Required Qualifications**:
Valid drivers license, Pro Serve Certificate, Speak, read and write English fluently, Microsoft Office Programs, extensive knowledge in scheduling and scheduling software. Must have 2+ years in Food and Beverage industry as well as 2+ years in a leadership role.
**Personal Qualities and Behavioral Traits**:
Must remain calm in any situation, can work in close quarters with others, good communication skills, and can multitask within reason. Must be able to work while tolerating frequent interruptions and not lose focus. Receptive and adaptive to change. Professional well groomed appearance. Good problem solving skills.
**Relationships**: Maintains professional relationships with all Suppliers. Communicates effectively and extensively with Kitchen and Sales Department regarding catering. Maintains a close professional relationship with the Hotel in understanding their structure and importance to our daily operations.
