We are currently seeking a Highway Dispatcher/Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role will be an integral part of the day to day operations of our trucking company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule and dispatch drivers in real-time through computer-based dispatch/satellite system for on-time pick-ups and deliveries.
- Maintain working knowledge of products hauled, regulations and operating authorities.
- Ensure driver's compliance with HOS and Safety regulations when dispatching.
- Understand customer needs and advise solutions to their utmost satisfaction.
- Maintain multiple accounts and submissions simultaneously.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Exceptional organizational abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Capable of working autonomously and strong time management skills.
- Knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Word
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Effective written & verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to recognize sense of urgency/prioritize & exceptional follow up skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Energetic, hard working, accountable and pro-active.
- Strong interpersonal skills

Job Duties:

- Maintain contact with drivers throughout their shifts and address any routing issues they might have
- Monitor road conditions, construction zones, and accidents in order to revise routes as needed
- Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
- Other duties as requested
- Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations
