What you will do:
The Event Cinema Coordinator is responsible for assisting the team with administrative tasks and event-specific organization requirements that keep department processes moving forward and cinema events successful. The Coordinator is responsible for supporting the growth of Event Cinema, primarily through the theatrical line of business in matters specific to administration and general program support.

This is a hybrid position. Office location is 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto.

Key Responsibilities- General department support, including facilitation of general departmental administrative requirements, invoice coding and processing, cheque requisitions, expense reports for team and classification costs, courier/mail requests, booking and organizing team meetings, maintaining and tracking costs, and other duties as required.- Assisting with organizing program details including updating other teams with programming dates, creating theatre and/or distribution lists for programs, organizing and tracking trailer placements, ordering print materials, updating Film Central with necessary program details.- Facilitating internal/external communications and reporting requirements including weekly/monthly reports as needed, advance sales and final box office reports to partners, working with the Senior Programming Manager on advance sales and event announcement communications

Education & Certification- College Degree or University diploma- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Business Administration

Experience- 1-2 year’s experience with administrative responsibilities- 2-3 year’s experience within the cinema exhibition industry- Experience taking part in cross functional team-based projects

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with both colleagues and external partners alike- Strong project management, time management and organizational skills- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities- Demonstrated prioritization ability, solution orientation and resilience, given fast-changing environment and market landscape- Highly energetic team player with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the Event Cinema team and cross-functionally with other groups and business units- Experience leveraging data to inform, educate and provide solutions.- Highly collaborative team player.- Excellent oral and written communication skills- Excellent presentation and hands-on training skills- Experience with Microsoft systems, Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.- Experience in a matrixed organization structure- Thrives in a fast-paced growth environment
