**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Organize and manage all trucking requirements related to Steelway and ExSteel products at both the Springwater and Progress Drive facilities using company owned transportation or external carriers.
- Schedule deliveries using company owned truck(s)
- Coordinating loads and loading with the Shipping and Receiving Manager.
- Timely shipping to ensure good customer service.
- Assign loading sequences to ensure safe and efficient off loading at destination
- Purchase freight from external carrier with cost and service in mind
- Create required paperwork and data entry (packing slips, purchase orders, etc.)
- Backup for the Shipping and Receiving Manager
- Coordinate with customers the delivery schedule
- Maintaining competitive pricing and quality vendors.
- Coordinate with purchasing for incoming freight requirements (backhauls)
- Communicate loading requirements to truck loaders & coordinate this with Shipping and Receiving Manager
- Set up courier services & assign the picking & preparation of order for pickup by courier including all necessary documents.

**WHAT YOU WILL NEED**
- Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
- Post secondary education is an asset
- Experience in freight and logistics is an asset
- Maintain a level of education necessary to keep pace with new manufacturing technology and company requirements
- Knowledge of required software systems (Visual, BOM, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of Steelway and ExSteel products
- Knowledge of proper loading procedures
- Excellent organization and scheduling abilities
- Knowledge of legal requirements as per Ministry of Transportation
- Understanding of international exportation requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work well in a fast paced, constantly changing, and high stress environment
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
