**Position Overview**:
Working under the direction of the VP of Sales, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing quotes and following up with customers on numerous products offered by DHB. The Inside Sales Representative will engage with customers to understand their requirements, provide quotes, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

**Detailed Responsibilities**:

- Communicate with customers, ensuring complete information is received in order to develop a quote using the valve specification form
- Demonstrate expertise in sizing, selection, and pricing of products to provide optimal solutions for clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries, providing product information, and addressing their needs promptly and professionally
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing them with ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Understand customer requirements, specifications, and project details to offer appropriate product recommendations and solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales quotations to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Determine timing and requirements for quotes
- Follow up with customers to secure orders
- Be extremely knowledgeable about current inventory, valve types, and manufacturers
- Interact with manufacturers and suppliers to get technical, pricing, and delivery needs in a timely manner
- Recommend? Valve selection based on customers supplied datasheets

**About you**
- 2+ years experience in the supporting and/or selling function of technically complex products
- Proficient in MS Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with QuickBooks an asset
- Experience in an industrial business an asset
- Attention to detail and comfortable with analysing, reviewing, and updating large amounts of information
- Self motivated and results oriented with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast paced sales environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in preparing quotes, proposals, and other sales documents
- The ability to continuously learn and improve with the willingness to adapt to change
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to stay organized and manage time across multiple initiatives and responsibilities
- Proficient in both English and French (spoken and written)
