**Job description**

We are looking for a head cashier to oversee the operations of our C-store & Gas on a day-to-day basis, within the policies and guidelines of the brand, ensuring customer satisfaction, team member satisfaction/retention.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for providing overall leadership in the Store
- recognizing and motivating all team members; coaching and training the team in order to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure team maintains the highest possible level of customer service.
- Provide highest level of customer service when processing transactions on the POS
- Ensure adherence to all Gas Station operation policies and procedures and perform appropriate follow-up with team members.
- Reconciling fuel and c-store inventory counts
- Cleaning, stocking, and organizing all shelving
- Assistance with the alcohol portion of the store including LCBO and Beer store ordering
- Dealing with customer complains and issues as they arise
- Maintaining and cleaning of washroom facilities as needed

**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:

- Good interpersonal, communication, and verbal skills
- Good organizational/time-management skills
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills
- Adaptable, flexible and accepting of diversity
- Basic business, math and accounting skills
- Ability to lift up to 20kg

**EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION**:

- One to three years work experience in Gas station & C-Store or related industry would be ideal but not required. We are willing to train someone new to the industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
