**Position Overview**:
The CNC Operator will play a key role in the production of high-precision components used in our advanced woodworking tools. This position involves setting up, loading, and unloading parts, performing quality checks, and maintaining CNC machines and tooling to ensure consistent, top-quality results.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to learning and producing to exact specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and change over machined parts on CNC mills and lathes
- Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, vernier scales, depth gauges)
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all finished parts meet required tolerances and specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance (e.g., refill coolant, top up lubricants, complete maintenance logs)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team setting

**Shift Schedule**:
This position operates on a rotating shift schedule:

- **Days**: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
- **Afternoons**: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts, Fridays off)
- **Weekend Overtime**: Available Saturdays 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Experience operating CNC mills and lathes (preferred but not required - training provided)
- Experience using precision measuring devices
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Forklift license considered an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality

**Experience (Preferred but Not Required)**:

- CNC Milling and Programming
- CNC Operations
- Machine Operations

**Compensation & Benefits**:
