**Key Functions**

**Key Responsibilities**
- ** Community Investment**:Manage the annual community investment budget including employee matching-donations, sponsorship or donations that align with Ballad’s community investment priorities.
- **Impact Data Management**:Work with cross-functional team members to develop and lead Ballad’s social impact quarterly and annual database for easy and informative reporting.
- **Annual Impact Reporting**: Prepare content (photos, stories and data) to demonstrate Ballad’s annual impact. Work with Ballad’s graphic designer to create a professional external report.
- **Storytelling**:Work with the Marketing Specialist to create compelling content that demonstrates our impact to external audiences.
- **Social Impact Strategy**:Champion the social impact strategy within the organization, providing resources, education and support across the organization to meet our impact goals. Work with the leadership team to update the strategy on an annual basis.
- **Community Relations**:Work with senior members of the leadership team to develop community relationships that align with Ballad’s social impact strategy.
- **Holistic Impact Evaluation**:Work with workforce development Senior Program Supervisors to manage Ballad’s holistic program evaluation education, analysis and funder reporting.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Engage with internal teams across different functions to integrate marketing efforts into overall business objectives and ensure alignment.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, or related field.
- Proven 3 years of experience in a social impact role with a focus on impact data management and analysis, storytelling and community engagement or investment related activities.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive informed impact decision-making.
- A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, with the ability to align impact stories with the Ballad brand.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- A natural curiosity to bring forward new ideas, and industry best practices and be ready to implement them.
- Natural storyteller, with a proven portfolio of work.
- Experience growing employer-supported volunteerism within a company an asset
- Social Return on Investment or similar training is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is considered an asset.
