**Job description: Weld Group Leader**

**Starting Wage: $21.47 per hour**

**Job Duties**:

- Manage the daily activity of a production section within the Weld Department
- Lead Production Operators to achieve production goals.
- Train, coach and develop operators
- Track production results and provide shift results
- Assist the Weld Coordinator as required
- Complete daily checks
- Ability to operate equipment and troubleshoot minor issues to maintain production
- Ensure all section quality checks are being completed when required
- Look for continuous improvement opportunities
- Support problem solving small group activities
- Provide direction to Weld associates regarding responsibilities and performance
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety, and quality standards while meeting production performance targets

**What we look for**:

- 1-3 years experience working in Original equipment Manufacturing (OEM)
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Proven time management skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Must be able to travel
- Exhibit the ability to work in a challenging environment
- Willing and able to be a self-starter

**Schedule**:

- Willing and able to support OT as required
- Willing and able to support weekend work as required
- Willing and able to work rotating shifts, 2 weeks days and 2 weeks afternoons

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.47-$26.15 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Shelburne, ON L9V 3N4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
