**Educational Assistant**

**Location**:**Don Campbell Elementary**

**30 hours weekly**

January 5, 2026 to April 13, 2026

Temporary position replacing a leave of absence.

The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades K-5.

**Desirable qualifications and attributes**:

- Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education is an asset.
- Ability to work with students who have special education needs and behaviour challenges.
- Experience supporting learners in a classroom setting, including specialized instruction for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD.
- Skilled in implementing individualized learning strategies and behavior support plans.
- Comfortable and experienced with personal care routines, including toileting assistance.
- Comfortable working independently, with mínimal guidance.
- Good problem solving skills.
