Reporting into the Digital Marketing team, the role will support Boston Pizza content creation marketing activities across corporate digital and social channels in Canada.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

We are seeking a Junior Content Creator to join the team on a contract basis, to assist in studio work for guest-facing communications and to develop unique digital assets and social content. For key national campaigns through the year, we will have creative direction and assets supplied by our agency partners which this role would need to leverage in design of distinct communication elements. For day-to-day guest engagement, we will look to this role to lead the creative development process. Key duties include:

- Creative ideation around copy messaging, headlines, social
- Create original video, still and gif content for distribution on assigned digital platforms
- Ensure that all content is grammatically correct and factually accurate, and that the graphic and writing style is consistent with the Boston Pizza brand and appropriate for the channel
- Organize, backup and archive all content
- Lead creation and planning of real-time/reactive content (i.e. events/topics, holidays, seasonal)
- Assist in-house designer on broader corporate graphic design needs as required

**Skills & Background Required**
- Illustration, photography, video and content creation skills
- Experience with editing programs (ie. Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, and social media platforms
- Knowledge of current design and video trends
- Ability to identify and leverage best practices across still and motion content capture
- Demonstrated aptitude for creative content development (ideation, graphic design, copy)
- Understanding of best practices for gaining attention and engagement from different channels
- School and/or working experience in video & graphic design
- Copywriting experience an asset
