**Salary**:
Classification 5, $19,839.79- $20,453.39 annually, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Vacation, 59.5 hours annually, is pro-rated and front loaded. We offer competitive extended health and dental benefits, as well as time off for family illness, personal illness, and other special leaves. Closure during the Christmas Break (Dec 25 - Jan 1st) of each year is paid time off.

**Description**:
We are currently recruiting to add a member to our janitorial team on the Fort St John campus. The shift schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00 - 10:30am daily.

Our janitorial staff provide cleaning services such as vacuuming, washing floors and windows, carpet cleaning, emptying garbage, restocking supplies and other janitorial duties for the main campus buildings, outbuildings, and student housing.

**Qualifications**:
Institutional custodial training and experience is preferred. Heavy physical effort is required to operate cleaning equipment (e.g. floor polisher, etc.). Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills. Being an effective team member is essential. Current, valid driver's license is an asset.
