Framing Carpenter

Job description

On-Job Skills:

- Build and hang custom doors and frames
- Prepare and assemble on site: roof trusses and walls
- Pick orders
- Stack lumber at saws
- Assist with the movement of semi-finished/finished product
- Clean equipment, climbing a ladder
- Ability to measure length, height and width of materials
- Operate power tools (electric cordless drills/cutters)

**Requirements**:

- Experienced in building wooden roof trusses or walls
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to read a blueprint

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- framing: 1 year (preferred)

**Salary**: From $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
