**Job Overview**:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounting Representative is responsible for providing support to Bell Technical Solutions' Accounts Payable team in the preparation and processing of invoices, accounts payable and other financial records in accordance with established procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Performs accounts payable accounting and payment generation for suppliers in Ontario and Quebec;
- Coding of invoices;
- Prepare reclassification entries;
- Prepare various management reports within the sphere of activity;
- Produce the Age of accounts payable;
- Assemble and authorize cheques, and send to suppliers;
- File invoices and archive at the end of the fiscal year;
- Process expense accounts on a bi-monthly basis;
- Prepare monthly GST/QST reports;
- Prepare/coordinate DAS payments;
- Participate in special accounts payable projects to improve processes and procedures.

**Critical Qualifications**:

- Education in accounting or finance or DEP combined with 1 to 2 years' experience in an accounting department;
- Knowledge of Power Point, Excel and Word;
- Knowledge of SAP, Accounts Payable Module;
- Knowledge of tax recovery rules;
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and on a schedule;

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bilingualism is an asset; as you will be communicating frequently with suppliers and employees in Ontario (French and English).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Versatility;
- Strong learning skills;

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
