A willingness and ability to work any recognized shift, including weekends, is expected. **Wage Information**: - Range between $24.28 to $27.92 per hour, which includes a shift differential of 4.5-8.4% for any hours worked between 5pm - 6am on weekdays, and 15% for any hours worked on the weekend. - Job Summary Performs janitorial work necessary for the routine cleaning and upkeep of buildings and facilities which involves constant mobility, bending, lifting and reaching. Cleans and maintains all surfaces of furniture, furnishings, floors, walls and other surfaces. Moves furniture and equipment when required. Clears and cleans waste containers and properly disposes material. Cleans glass surfaces not requiring the use of scaffolds or safety devices. Cleans, disinfects and provides supplies for washrooms. Operates all manner of hand and power tools and performs routine maintenance on assigned equipment. Requests supplies and materials as required and stores for ready use. Reports furniture, fixtures and other facilities in need of repair. Maintains high standard of cleanliness, sanitation and safety and assists in maintaining security of facilities, in assigned areas.
