What you’ll do: *
- Oversee inventory management and replenishment inclusive of inbound ingredients and inbound finished goods
- Maintain positive relationships with GVF partners and suppliers
- Establish future relationships with potential partners and suppliers
- Complete daily verification of current on-hand inventory using our ERP inventory system and some external tracking tools (Power BI)
- Analyze and determine replenishment order requirements and transportation schedules
- Monitor and track inventory levels monthly to ensure optimal ownership
- Complete administrative tasks such as creating purchase orders using the ERP system
- Work closely with GVF’s Purchasing, Nutrition and Sales teams
- Continuously monitor stale material and clean up old stock
- Determine the most cost-effective method of inbound transportation of ingredients and monitor savings created through this evaluation
- Develop and manage the third-party trucking network by researching potential partners, establishing and securing relationships, creating a RFQ process and tracking system

**Your background includes**:

- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Sales, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
- 2 + years working experience in purchasing, logistics or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- A high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Outlook, Word, Excel), and an ability to quickly learn new software and processes
- Experience with ERP Software for Contracts, Inventory and Purchasing
- Experience working in a HACCP/Feed Assure environment is an asset
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills

**Working with us**:
This is a permanent, full-time in-person position that will be based out of our production facility at 486 Main Street in Cambridge, Ontario. Typical work hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. There may be times where you will be required to work outside of these standard hours.
