**Position: Project Estimator**

**Location**: Calgary, Alberta

**Employment Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Qualifications**:

- 3 or more years of experience in civil construction estimating
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

**Position Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- ** Quantity Take-offs**: Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for projects
- ** Estimating Costs**: Develop accurate cost estimates for projects
- ** Managing Project Startups**: Oversee the initiation of projects, ensuring all necessary steps are taken
- ** Efficient Scheduling and Management of Resources**: Coordinate and manage crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution
- ** Regular Communication**: Maintain regular communication of project status to the project team and the client
- ** Maintaining Positive Relationships**: Foster and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
- ** Reviewing Project and Bid Performance**: Analyze and review the performance of projects and bids
- ** Daily Progress and Cost Tracking**: Monitor and track daily progress and costs to ensure project efficiency
- ** Ensuring Effective Project Progression**: Ensure the efficient and effective progression of the project
- ** Invoicing and Collection**: Work closely with administrative staff to complete invoicing and collect outstanding receivables

**Typical Schedule**:

- Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off
