Lora Bay Golf Club is hiring an Outside Services Supervisor If you're a motivated leader, can multitask under pressure, and have a strong sense of urgency in delivering outstanding service, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
As a key member of our golf operations team, the Outside Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the outside service staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and maintaining the highest level of service standards. You will set the tone for the team by leading by example, greeting members and guests with professionalism and enthusiasm, and ensuring all outdoor service areas operate efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a Lora Bay golf ambassador
- Supervision of, and assign daily duties to outside service attendant team and player assistants
- Responsible for opening or closing the outside services operation as assigned
- Ensure golf carts are clean and prepared for guests, report maintenance issues when required to the Head Professional
- Resolve guest issues and complaints as they arise
- Assign attendants to ensure driving range is maintained and picked
- Ensure arrival area is clean and attractive
- Ensure attendants are greeting guests in a friendly manner and attending to guest needs
- Ensure golf course is being monitored and pace of play is to Lora Bay standards

Requirements and Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Must excel in customer service
- Proven organizational skills and an attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work well in a team environment
- Be neat and professional in appearance
- Approach responsibilities in an organized and energetic manner
- Provides guest service to external contacts, guests who are golfing at Lora Bay Golf course, as well as internal contacts, in coordinating activities of outside service attendants.
- High school level English communication skills
- Prior experience in golf operations an asset

Physical Environment & Requirements
- Work under pressure
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 LBS
- Long periods of standing on your feet
