DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Managing general Payroll administration within established payroll period close deadlines
- Processing Payroll Change Forms, Payroll Discrepancy Reports, other forms, etc. for the site; Oracle/Connect data entry and maintaining site files for all hourly and salaried team members
- Providing administrative support by: maintaining and updating procedures, maintaining HR site filing systems, assisting with benefits administration, responding to employment verifications and any general external enquiries
- Maintaining bulletin boards, HR forms, and other communication vehicles.
- Coordinating interoffice mail and site lockers
- Ordering and distributing gaming and office supplies for all departments in addition to ensuring general cleanliness of the copy room and common areas
- Assisting the Operations team with various tasks and assisting in completion of projects & priorities
- Creating and developing internal and external correspondence as needed
- Assisting with various engagement activities, events or projects
- Advising team members and management on HR/OPS Support functions
- Administering and coordinating internal rewards and recognition programs
- Assisting with recruitment or on-boarding tasks as necessary to ensure a smooth process for new hires
- Updating the site directory
- Attending and preparing meeting minutes as required
- Assisting with Human Resources projects, as assigned
- Performing other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post-secondary diploma/certificate in Human Resources or a suitable combination of education and HR experience
- Experience in the hospitality industry an asset
- Ability to work well in a team environment, strong communication & organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and HR information systems. Oracle/Connect experience an asset
- Proven track-record of responsiveness and meeting deadlines

- Understanding of yourself as well as others when communicating with team members and guests

- Ability to be adaptable and flexible with work schedule (you may be required to work the occasional evening and weekend);
- Some travel will be required as this position will support surrounding sites

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: From $42,000.00 per year
