**OVERVIEW OF POSITION**:
The **Inventory Coordinator** is responsible for the daily/weekly/monthly management of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging to ensure continuous operation of both internal and external facilities. This position is responsible for planning and executing inventory counts to ensure accuracy levels on product ordering. This position will require strong communication skills in providing cross-functional support and expertise across, Production Planning, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, R&D, QA and more.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure the SAP B1 matches physical inventory for all warehouse locations
- Overseeing and provide support SAP processes and users:
- Purchasing - Open Purchase Orders and Goods Receiving PO
- Production - Open Production Orders, Output (Receipt), Consumption (Issue)
- Transfers - Between Warehouses
- Production to Warehouse Inventory Reconciliation
- Sales - Open Sales Orders, Shipping, Returns
- Post all inventory adjustment requisitions
- Organizing and posting Inventory Counts and adjustments - Annual, Quarterly and drop counts
- External Warehouse - Count Management
- Disposals - Expiry, Oil Management
- Report Inventory Adjustment Variance
- Item Setup
- SOP's for the Inventory Module
- Inventory Super User
- Barcode Scanning
- Will be the Key User
- Testing the system
- Assist Project team with setups (documents and scanning hardware)
- End User Training
- Setup SOP's
- Works with the Business Systems Analyst - To get inventory solutions to SAP
- Additional duties may be assigned to support other Supply Chain projects or team members, or duties may be changed to meet business needs
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
- Relevant degree, diploma or experience in warehousing, inventory management or related discipline
- At least 3 years’ experience in warehousing and Manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods in the food industry is an asset
- Experience with using ERP systems (SAP Preferred)
- Computer skills - Intermediate MS Office Skills (One Drive, Office 365, Excel, Word Outlook)
- Ensure compliance to GMPs, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance guidelines always
- Knowledge and understanding of best Warehouse safety practices
- Superior communication skills and the ability to deal with a variety of front-line challenges in a proactive manner
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
