**Job Overview**
As a Front Office Supervisor, you would be responsible for ensuring the completion of daily tasks in the Front Office department.

**What you need to be successful as a Front Desk Supervisor**:

- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Assigned duties to Guest Service Representatives.
- Effectively communicates company policies to Team Members and enforces safety regulations.
- Encourage and motivate staff to sign up guests for Best Western membership target goal of 2 per day collectively.
- Attention to detail, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Assigned work and supervised team member performance in all Front Office procedures, including, but not limited to, guest check-in and check-out, lobby traffic and flow, luggage assistance, and telephone operator services.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues and complaints in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints.
- Assign daily work tasks, lead pre-shift meetings, and inform and train team members.
- Train and develop staff.
- Ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction are following company standards.
- Assist in handling all complaints and incidents and communicate with management.
- Anticipated potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints, operational issues, business flow, and associate performance
- Liaise with Front Office staff to discuss and implement strategies to continually improve customer satisfaction, occupancy levels, and revenues.
- Respond to Guest reviews within the time frame that is allotted
- Any other duties that are signed to you by your manager.

**Responsibilities**
- **The requirements needed for this position.**
- Must have hotel front desk experience, including thorough knowledge of all aspects of front desk operations.
- Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role
- Have worked with Opera PMS system as an asset
- Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight as needed
- Speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively select, motivate, develop, and retain staff.
- Ability to manage change effectively with clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Team building effectiveness with superb organizational skills, including time management, delegation, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to walk and stand for hours at a time.
- Possess the drive to create a fun, rewarding, and professional work environment.
- Ability to prepare and analyze data figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 25 pounds occasionally.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
