Host/hostess

**Overview**
We are seeking a friendly and organized host/hostess to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest flow will contribute significantly to our restaurant's success.

**Duties**
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining area.
- Communicate wait times clearly to guests and keep them informed during busy periods.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about the menu, specials, and reservations.
- Address guest concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.

**Skills**
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred for efficient order processing.
- Familiarity with food service operations in a restaurant or hotel setting is an asset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations professionally.
- A helpful attitude towards guests and colleagues, fostering a positive team environment.
